Would like a simple way to exclude a part from all inventory mark ups, including Matrix Pricing, Global mark ups, or Part Price Rounding. This would be a simple flag located on the inventory profile of each part and when enabled, none of the above mentioned mark up structures will be applied.
@Guest Understood. I've updated the description on the request which I believe is what you're looking for. Let me know if that description is correct and covers what you are trying to a achieve.
Hi Jeffrey,
The problem is we use inventory categories to control our re-order levels. If I created a new inventory category, these parts would be excluded from that form a inventory control. It would be too many parts and cause issues. I was hoping a drop down could be created in the inventory profile that would allow you to turn on/off accelerators for that specific price.
Hi Taylor, with some modification to your current Matrix pricing set up, you will be able to accomplish this. If you review your Inventory Matrix Pricing Maintenance, you'll see you don't have a category selected for each pricing line. Since no category is selected, the pricing will apply to all parts. However, If you attach a category to a line, the pricing will only apply to parts in that category. The objective will be to insert a line for each category you want the pricing matrix applied to, and omit any category you don't want the matrix applied to. You can even create a new Parts Inventory category called 'No Mark Up' if you want to easily distinguish which parts should be omitted.
