Enhancement Request: Hyundai - Improved Accuracy of Current Service Display with Range-based Menu Lookup

As a service advisor, it is necessary to incorporate a range into the menu lookup to ensure accurate display of the current service due. Currently, the main criterion for determining the current service is based solely on the odometer reading. For instance, if a vehicle has an odometer reading of 119,500 KMS, the Current Service block in Power Lane correctly indicates that the 120,000KMS service is due.

However, a problem arises when the odometer reading surpasses 120,001KMS. In such cases, the displayed current service jumps to the next service, which is 132,000KMS (considering 12,000KM intervals), instead of correctly showing the 120,000KMS service as current.

To address this issue, we need to consider the interval distance first. Using the example above with a 12,000KMS interval, we should determine the halfway point and round up or down accordingly to identify the current service. Therefore, an odometer reading ranging from 120,000KMS to 125,999KMS should display the 120,000KMS service as the current one. On the other hand, if the odometer reading falls between 126,000KMS and 132,000KMS, the 132,000KMS service would be indicated as the current service.
