Currently in several screens when you use the tab button or shift+tab it doesn't work correctly. Your highlighted field jumps all around. This is especially annoying when adding parts to a work order. When you are on the retail price field and click tab it sends you backwords to the special order prepay deposit field. If you type anything in there accidentally it is best to just delete the line and start over.
The current tab order was decided on by the Parts Steering committee that we held in 2021. This group consisted of 12 parts managers at various dealerships across Canada and the U.S. The request was to adjust the tab order so it went to the most used fields first, and the least used fields later. The purpose of this is to reduce the number key strokes you have to make to get to the fields you need to access, and eliminating a key stoke to a field that you rarely or never need to adjust. We'll leave this item open for consideration to gauge how much interest we have to revert this to a traditional left to right tab order.
