Prompt when clicking on an application if there is already an open window for that application

This would benefit all users in all areas of Xsellerator. For example, if I have a "vehicle" window open and I have a customer call to book an appointment, if I click on the new vehicle from within the appointment window it will take me to the vehicle window that is already open, not the vehicle I have clicked on. This behavior is present any time a window is open in the background so it is very easy for mistakes to happen, especially since every click through opens a new window and we all end up with multiple windows open at once. My opinion is that clicking through on something should take me to what I specifically click on, not the general application since that is how most common software behaves and therefor that is what users expect however a simple solution would be to have the system prompt to update the open window. This would force the user to close that window and re-open it to the correct information.
