It would greatly benefit our operations if we could implement certain restrictions for Sales Appointment confirmations. Ideally, we would like to limit the ability to confirm appointments either by user or, if that is not feasible, by job role. The reason behind this request is that we have a team of Sales Managers who are also salespeople who currently possess the capability to self-confirm appointments. However, it is our belief that their appointments should be confirmed by their respective supervisors instead. The rationale is that a manager, being privy to the complete client interaction, is better equipped to confirm an appointment, as opposed to relying solely on the information provided by the salesperson. By implementing this change, we anticipate an improvement in both show rates and close ratios for confirmed appointments, ultimately leading to increased sales. It's worth noting that we already have a robust system in place for tracking appointments, which is integral to our sales floor culture. This proposed adjustment will further enhance the effectiveness of our booked appointments by displaying them as unconfirmed until the respective task is completed.
